What Is Hydro Jetting?
When Is Hydro Jetting Used?
The hydro jetting process
- Inspection. We will start by inspecting the drain with a camera to determine the location and severity of the blockage. This allows us to determine the best approach for the hydro jetting process.
- Preparation. Our experienced professionals will prepare the hydro jetting equipment, including setting up the water source and attaching the specialized nozzle to the end of the hose.
- Cleaning. Once the equipment is prepared, we will insert the hose and nozzle into the drain and turn on the water. The high-pressure water stream will blast away the blockage, breaking it apart and flushing it out of the drain.
- Repeat. Depending on the severity of the blockage, our team may need to repeat the hydro jetting process several times to ensure that the drain is completely clean.
- Final Inspection. After the hydro jetting is complete, wer will inspect the drain again with the camera to ensure that the blockage has been completely cleared and that the drain is flowing freely.
- Maintenance. To prevent future blockages, we may recommend regular maintenance services, such as hydro jetting or drain snaking, depending on the needs of the system.
hydro jetting drain cleaning costs
Hydro jet drain cleaning cost can vary depending on a number of factors, including the size of the drain, the severity of the clog, and the location of the blockage. On average, hydro jet drain cleaning can cost anywhere from $350 to $600 per hour, with larger or more complex jobs costing more. However, it is important to note that hydro jetting is often a more cost-effective solution than traditional drain cleaning methods, as it can be more thorough and long-lasting, reducing the need for frequent cleanings and repairs. Additionally, many plumbing companies offer discounts or package deals for regular maintenance services, which can help to lower the overall cost of hydro jetting and other drain cleaning services.
